THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD IS WHEN SOMEONE OFFERS U CHIPS AND U REACH IN THE BAG BUT U CAN’T GET A HOLD OF A CHIP AND U START SWEATIN’ AND PEOPLE ARE STARING CUZ U CAN’T GET HOLD OF A GODDAMN CHIP AND THEN CHILDREN ARE SCREAMING AND U HEAR GUNSHOTS AND BUILDINGS START COLLAPSING BUT U STILL. CAN’T. GET. A. CHIP.
Whenever you feel sad or worthless, just remember that one time Optimus Prime got tangled in wires for 20 minutes.
the only thing i don’t like about this is how english-speaking fans of anime tend to treat the fanworks of japanese fans with no respect at all.
reposting their art without permission. like even if it’s sourced, that doesn’t necessarily mean they want their, say, hardcore yaoi porn all over the internet where people who aren’t their personal followers can see it, for example. sometimes they’re fine with that happening but they want you to at LEAST let them know, ask them permission, just as a respect thing, holy shit. i’ve had japanese fans express to me that they’re worried about copyright laws in regards to their fanworks and don’t like it when people translate and repost them all willy-nilly.
the worst thing though is when people scan doujinshis that were paid for because the person asked money for them and post them without that person’s permission. you don’t know how the artist feels about that. it’s one thing to like download a movie illegally made by a huge company making tons of cash off it anyway— it’s another thing entirely to take a very small business, a tiny source of private income, a piece of art someone did because they were passionate about it, and scan it and post it up because KAWAII OTP DESU NE. come on. come the fuck on.
sharing an umbrella with someone seems cute but in practice it is 100% horrible and you both end up getting angry and wet
